Small towns bring out great holiday festivities, and our village joins right in on days like the celebration of “The Fourth of July” here in the states. For some reason I get a spirit of nostalgia around this day, and so here are some of my favorite images from past blog posting.

One summer we gave thanks that our house did not burn down, although it was touch and go for a while there until the wonderful fire fighters arrived.

My co-workers at McCalls Quilting Magazine were such a blast to work with. We taught on a cruise for quilters one year, and had some fun in New Orleans during Mardi Gras week.
