I took this photo down at the Rail Yards, Santa Fe. It just makes me smile.

Do you ever feel like you are running against the tide? Going in a direction different from the norm?

Oh, then you must be an artist.

So just run with it.

That train was not moving. It was standing still. The other person in the photo was on a mission.

“Do it no matter what. If you believe in it, it is something very honorable. If somebody around you or your family does not understand it, then that’s their problem. But if you do have a passion, an honest passion, just do it.” -Mario Andretti

“We decide what we want to pursue, there is no right or wrong, we formulate our own paths.” –Arthur Maderson

I love the simple ironies going on in this scene. The road runner icon is a favorite too. I wish I knew why this man is running! So many unanswered questions in photos make it a wonderful medium, don’t you think?

Running the rails. Nice blog, as a runner it’s seems a bit dodgy on the rails, twisted ankles and all.
